How You can Help

Rom 12:6-8 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

How You Can Help

There are always opportunities to help Children's Joy and many of them are listed below. Some of these things can be done while you are at home, others will require you to come out and work with us.For christians currently unemployed, volunteer work for a charity will look good on a CV. If you wish to help out, please contact us.

This is the most important support that anyone can give. Without prayer the ministry will struggle, but as people pray, God moves in response and opens doors and blocks those trying to prevent the work succeeding. Please be aware that the forces of Satan do not want the ministry to succeed becase it affects lives gripped by suffering and failure and offers opportunities for change to these people and for them to come to know God personally.

It probably won't come as a great shock that running a ministry like Children's Joy requires a substantial amount of money. All gifts received are used for furthering the work.

People wishing to support us who live in the UK can make gift aid donations by sendding a cheque payable to "Children's Joy UK" to:

Children's Joy UK
8 Reed Pond Walk
SS16 6AX

If you want this to be a gift aid donation please enclose a note stating that you wish this donation to be treated as gift aid and also include your name and address. Please note that you must pay enough income tax to cover the tax part of the gift, this will allow us to reclaim from inland revenue the tax you have paid on the amount you have given, making your gift worth more.

If you are not in the UK or for convenience you rather pay by credit card over the internet we will be introducing Pay Pal in the near future. Please check back to see when this is live.

Children's Joy offers opportunities for groups to help out for periods of time by agreement. This is suitable for small youth groups, church vacations with a difference and people looking for different ways to serve other people. Groups will be able to help out in many areas, which include depending on the time of the year:

  • Taking the children out
  • Planting and harvesting of the crop land
  • Repairs, development and general maintenance of the property
  • Anything else required for day to day running of Children's Joy

Several Ukrainian students have worked with us to gain experience for what they see as their future calling in children's ministries. As there are only limited spaces available for this please contact us.
